Rianol Nigeria, a pioneer bioenergy company began in 2017, as a brainchild of the CEO, Mr.
Mark Obisesan with the three-pronged aim of providing: clean, safe and affordable renewable
energy solutions for Nigeria and by extension, West Africa; in order to reduce the damaging
consequences of fossil fuels on the environment and climate.
Rianol has carefully looked at three crops: Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum), Cassava
(Manihot esculenta) and Sweet Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L) Moench) for their biofuel
potentials and selected Sweet Sorghum as the crop its proposed £2.2million ethanol production
plan will be built on.
Rianol’s forward-thinking approach is seen in its intended employment of modern technologies
and IT to drive sustainable agricultural production and achieve low waste, reduced cost of
production and affordable bioenergy for the consumer.
